THOUSANDS of people took to the streets of Glasgow on Saturday to celebrate Pride.
As part of Pride Month, honouring the LGBTQ+ community for all of June, people adorned their brightest colours and marched around the city streets together.
The march and festival marked the first in Glasgow in three years after the covid pandemic forced the cancellation of previous events in 2020 and 2021.
The crowds set off from Glasgow Green at 12pm and marched through the city centre before heading to the Broomielaw at the River Clyde.
A group of drag queens also joined in the march.
People could be seen waving rainbow flags, wearing multi-coloured face paint, tiaras, floral garlands and carrying placards.
One read: "Remember our past. Celebrate our present. Fight for our future."

The event was attended by some notable Scottish stars including presenter Jean Johansson and Still Game's Jane McCarry, who had a 'brilliant' time on the Pride Bus.

Glasgow City Council leader Susan Aitken also thanked Pride and the people involved in it, which she said was estimated to be around 12,000, for having "such a well-organised, joyous march."
Ms Aitken was joined by her colleagues, Govan councillor Ricky Bell, Langside councillor Paul Leinster and Dennistoun councillor Allan Casey.
