Further man arrested in connection with trying to persuade girl, 14, into car
A further man has been arrested in connection with attempting to persuade a young girl into a vehicle in Newton Mearns.
Between 2.45 pm and 3.45 pm on Wednesday, June 22 two men are said to have made efforts to convince the 14-year-old to enter a car on Harvie Avenue.
Police confirmed on Friday that a 32-year-old man had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
Now, an 18-year-old man has also been arrested and is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court tomorrow.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
