Update: Police Scotland has confirmed that the road between Cambridge Street and West Nile Street was re-opened at around 8:05am.
Five people have been rushed to hospital this morning following a crash in the city centre.
The group were travelling in a car on Cowcaddens road at around 6:15 am when their vehicle collided with a bus.
There has been no further information provided regarding injuries at this time.
The road between Cambridge Street and West Nile Street was closed but reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6.15am on Thursday 30 June, to a report of a crash in Cowcaddens Road involving a bus and a car.
“The road was closed between Cambridge Street and West Nile Street.
“Five people from the car have been taken to hospital for treatment. There are no other reported injuries at this time.”
