Former Celtic captain Scott Brown has been pictured rubbing shoulders with some of the Scottish music industry's brightest talents this week.

Brown attended the Lytham Music Festival in Lancashire yesterday where he met up with Someone You Loved singer Lewis Capaldi and posed for a photo.

Posting on his Instagram he said: "Good to meet @lewiscapaldi ahead of his show @lythamfestival tonight!"

Fans of the pair were quick to comment with one saying: "Two brilliant legends together"

Another added: "A combo made in heaven".

On the same evening, Brown was pictured with backstage with Bathgate star Luke La Volpe who was sharply dressed for his own performance at the festival.

Both Lewis Capaldi and Luke La Volpe will take to the stage at Glasgow Green next weekend for this year's TRNSMT festival.

They join the likes of Sam Fender and Paolo Nutini in a stellar lineup of acts at the event which runs from July 8 to 10.
