A MULTIPLE car crash in Glasgow's East End has seen a 'number' of people rushed to hospital.
Emergency crews scrambled to Lochend Road in Easterhouse at around 3pm today where two cars were involved in a collision.
Police confirmed that they attended and that a number of people were taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
No further details were given.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "We were made aware of a crash involving two cars on Lochend Road in Glasgow shortly after 3pm on Thursday, 30 June.
"Emergency services attended and a number of people have been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance."
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
