A MAN acting 'suspiciously' on a train to Glasgow left behind a suitcase containing drugs worth £6000.
Rail staff noticed the man acting strangely on the Tuesday service and reported him.
The individual got off the train at Motherwell before the train terminated, and left behind a suitcase.
When the case was searched, it was then discovered he had been carrying a haul of cannabis.

Yesterday rail staff reported a man acting suspiciously on-board a Glasgow-bound train.
He alighted at #Motherwell but forgot his suitcase containing £6k of cannabis.

British Transport Police confirmed that they were investigating the incident in a bid to put him 'before the courts'.
