THERE will be a damp start to Saturday in Glasgow with showers forecast in the morning before a drier afternoon.

The Met Office predicts it will be a cloudy morning with showery rain before brightening up in the afternoon with sunny spells, though there may still be the odd shower.

The maximum temperature will be 18 degrees.

Pollen levels will be moderate with grass, nettle, some lime and sweet chestnut and a few weed pollen types in the air.

The evening will be bright with clear spells and the minimum temperature overnight will be 11 degrees.
