AUDIENCE members had to be removed from the Mrs Brown's Boys show at the OVO Hydro following a "brawl".

Fans of the BBC One sitcom complained of a "10-minute punch-up" soon after the start of Mrs Brown's Boys' D'Tour show on Saturday night, according to the Irish Mirror.

Brendan O'Carroll also reportedly stopped the show for a short time after he thought the fight was a "medical emergency".

It is not known how many people were involved in the incident but a spokesperson for the SEC confirmed that "individuals" were removed by security.

It is understood police were not contacted.

After the show, fans took to Mrs Brown's Boys' Facebook page to comment on the "unnecessary interruptions".

One person wrote: "Thank you to the cast of Mrs Brown tonight.

"A great show with some unnecessary interruptions.

"However you managed as usual to rise above it.

"Enjoy the rest of the tour."

Another person said: "Great show apart from the mishap at the start."

A third person added: "Hopefully no cat fights in the crowd on your next show."

An SEC spokesperson told the Glasgow Times: "The individuals in question were removed as soon as our team became aware of the situation, as is standard practice."
