A TRNSMT pre-party will be held in Glasgow this weekend.

Festival Village in the Merchant City will play host to a number of events to gear up before thousands descend on Glasgow Green for three days of live music.

To get ready for the festival, guests can enjoy themed cocktails, face painting and playlists featuring some of the highly-anticipated headliners from Paolo Nutini to Lewis Capaldi. Glasgow Times:

It will be open from 11am to 10pm on Friday, July 8, Saturday, July 9 and Sunday, July 10.

A live mural installation by beer brand Heverlee will add to the existing array of colourful displays in the venue.

Festival-goers can enjoy playing lawn games while sipping on cocktails, slushies, local gins and draught beer at the beer garden, while Greek street food pop-up Feta will be on hand to feed guests.
