GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose has given fans an update after their Glasgow show was postponed.

The American rockers were scheduled to perform to thousands at Glasgow Green on July 5.

But it was announced the night before the gig that the show would be postponed due to 'illness and medical advice'. 

Now lead singer Axl Rose has personally issued fans with an apology and informed them of how his health is doing.

He wrote: "I'd like to thank everyone 4 their well wishes! It's greatly appreciated!

"We apologise for the inconvenience of postponing Glasgow."

 

The Sweet Child of Mine singer added that he was following orders from a doctor and vocal coach, and assured fans that Guns n' Roses would return to the stage in Munich on July 8. 

"I've been following Dr's orders, getting rest, working with a vocal coach and sorting out sound issues. Seems good so far.

"Thanks again for everyone's concern! At the end of the day it's about giving u the fans the best of ourselves and the best time we can give u and that's all I, the band and crew are focused on. See you in Munich!!"
