A Scottish TV presenter was spotted at a popular Italian restaurant in Glasgow last night.

La Lanterna in the city's West End is a hot spot for celebrity diners and, this week, it was multi-talented Ross King who stopped by for a meal.

King, who is perhaps best known for his role as LA correspondent for ITV Breakfast programmes Lorraine and Good Morning Britain, posed happily with chef Luca Conreno and a staff member for a photo which was shared on social media today.

A member of the team at La Lanterna said: "Good morning.

"Look who popped in for his tea last night, Scotland’s very own Ross King!"

Fans of the Motherwell-born star were quick to comment with one saying: "Lovely photo of lovely people".
