AN INCIDENT has seen two men rushed to hospital with serious injuries and one man arrested. 

Officers rushed to the Liddesdale Road area of Glasgow just before 8pm yesterday evening.

Two men were found to be injured following what police are describing as an 'incident'. 

One was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and the other was rushed to the Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Now cops are probing the incident, and have confirmed that an arrest has been made. 

A man has been arrested in connection with a serious assault. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Two men have been injured following an incident in Liddesdale Road, Glasgow.

"Officers were called there around 7.50pm on Saturday evening and two men were taken to hospital (QEUH and GRI).

"One man was been arrested in connection with a serious assault and enquiries are continuing."
