There was a slight delay to the start of DJ Sigala’s set at TRNSMT.

The Norfolk-born DJ, 32, was due to take to the main stage at the Glasgow Green festival at 2.40pm today.

He appeared on schedule launching into the Jackson 5 sampled ABC before the music cut out.

He then returned to the stage minutes later with the same track and the ravefest got underway.

The smash-hit Lullaby he produced which features Paloma Faith vocals quickly followed.

He screamed: “TRNSMT, make some noise,” to spin Sweet Lovin featuring Bryn Christopher.

The DJ set seemed to receive the most enthusiasm from the TRNSMT crowd which is no surprise. His radio-friendly hits appeal to the masses and are undeniable catchy.

A remix of Calvin Harris and The Disciples’ How Deep is your Love sent the crowd wild.

While ABBA’s Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie was a surprise.

Finishing off, he said; “You guys are incredible, thanks so much,” before playing Ella Eyre collab Came Here for Love.

And when Glasgow is blessed with Ibiza sunshine, it only seems right that someone like Sigala takes to the main stage.
