A peaceful protest will take place in Glasgow this month following the overturning of Roe v Wade in America.
Similar protests have already taken place across the UK as the “devastating” decision to scrap the constitutional right to abortion in the United States received widespread condemnation.

Next Saturday, people are invited to gather at George Square to show solidarity with the women in roughly half of all US states who will be subject to abortion bans.
Co-organiser of the event, Leeanne McMullen, 25, said: "What’s happening in America is disgusting.
"No woman should feel like she doesn’t have rights to her own body.
"We're hoping for a good turnout and will give everyone the chance to say their piece.
"We already have a few women who want to talk about their experiences and tell us why it's important to protest.
"Even if you don’t want to speak everyone is welcome to come down and stand with us."
Leeanne will lead the protest alongside Bronagh Megahy after the pair met in a group chat dedicated to organising similar events across the UK.
The Peaceful Protest for Women's Rights will take place on July 16 at 1 pm.
