AN INCIDENT involving concern for a person at a train line resulted in services being diverted.
We previously reported that emergency services were on the scene dealing with an 'incident' in Clydebank yesterday evening.
As a result, ScotRail advised at 8.41pm that trains heading through Yoker were being diverted.
Now emergency crews have confirmed that they were responding to a call of concern for a person.
Transport police officers rushed to the line at Clydebank after the alarm was raised for a man's welfare.
He was then removed to a place of safety and services returned to normal.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: "Officers were called to the line in Clydebank at 8.15pm following concern for the welfare of a man.
"Officers attended and he was taken to a place of safety."
