A new restaurant will open in the former Grill On the Corner premises in Glasgow City centre.

Bothwell House, which has a capacity of 300, describes itself as a brasserie and cocktail house.

Situated on Bothwell Street, artist impressions have been released of what the front of the restaurant will look like before it officially opens in August.

Leading mixologist John Russell, who was previously a head bartender at the city's Blue Dog, will deliver a menu of modern and classic cocktails, craft beers and Scottish artisan brands.

While the food menu will offer contemporary Scottish dining with a Mediterranean twist led by Gary Duncan.

Ahead of its opening, the venue is undergoing a complete transformation and a host of local talented artists are creating artwork on the walls that pay homage to the building’s heritage and location. It will also feature what has been described as stunning Instagrammable features.
