A MAN has died from his injuries after a car crash on a busy road. 

The incident happened at around 11.20pm on Sunday, July 10 when a car collided with a pedestrian. 

A 42-year-old man was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he died the following day, on Monday, July 11.

Road policing officers are now investigating the incident, which occurred on the A814 near Cardross.

They are urging any witnesses to come forward with information. 

Sergeant Kevin Craig, of the Dumbarton Road Policing Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who has died in this crash and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances. 

“I am appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who saw what happened to contact us. 

“I would also appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam footage which could assist our investigation to get in touch.”
