A WALKER came across a "strange" discovery on his morning stroll today in Queen's Park
Serrano Ó Bruadair was in the Southside park when he found a ram's head sitting on top of a bin.
In pictures, which Serrano says he took this morning, the animal's head can be seen perched on the bin with "no sign of the rest of it".
He said: "I was still half asleep on my walk and couldn't quite work out what it was until I got to the bin.
"As I'm sure you would agree it was a strange find."
He claimed: "It was definitely a real severed head as I looked into the base of the skull."
Serrano shared a picture of the ram's head on the Battlefield Community Project Facebook page, where the "horrible" discovery was also met with confusion.
One person wrote: "I'd be looking for folk in a circle wearing black cloaks and a virgin running away."
Another said: "I would have got a fright if I’d saw that poor animal."
A third person added: "Wouldn't be going there again at night that's for sure."
