A TOTAL of 13 people have been arrested in a crackdown on outstanding warrants.
The warrants initiative was carried out by officers in Bellshill, Motherwell and Wishaw on Tuesday, July 5 and Thursday, July 7.
Those arrested included seven men and six women, aged between 23 and 48 years old.

The arrests were all for a number of outstanding warrants in connection to crimes including serious assault and other crimes of violence, drugs supply and possession, and drink driving.
The majority appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court, but some also appeared at Airdrie and Glasgow Sheriff Court.
The crackdown was led by Sergeant Liam Bryson and local community police officers in an effort to prevent and reduce reoffending.

Police Sergeant Liam Bryson said: "Our aim is to deliver a policing service to prevent and reduce re-offending.
"We are always looking to identify and address the matters that most affect our local community, if you have any information, or wish to discuss these issues with your local community policing team, we can be contacted through 101."
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "There were 13 arrests, seven men and six women aged between 48 and 23 years, which were all for a number of outstanding warrants for crimes ranging from a serious assault, other crimes of violence, drugs supply and possession to drink driving.
"Most appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court but a number also appeared at Airdrie and Glasgow Sheriff Court."
