FIRE crews raced to battle a blaze in the city's Govan after a "large pile of rubbish" went on fire.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesperson confirmed they were called to Renfew Road at around 5.25pm following reports of a fire.

Three appliances were sent to the scene to tackle the blaze after a pile of rubbish measuring around 20 metres by 50 metres went up in flames.
They confirmed the fire has been extinguished and firefighters are no longer in attendance.
