AN investigation is underway after a man was assaulted in the city centre.
Cops were called to Argyle Street at around 9.30pm last night following reports of an assault.

It is understood the man did not require hospital treatment following the incident.
It is not known how many people were involved in the assault but officers confirmed an investigation is now underway to find those responsible.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received reports of an assault outside a premises on Argyle Street, Glasgow at around 9.30pm on Friday, July 15, 2022.
"An investigation is underway to identify the persons involved."
