Glasgow train services have faced disruption today as a result of soaring temperatures.
At around 1:50 pm this afternoon NetworkRail advised of a fault between Glasgow Queen Street Low Level and Hyndland.

A spokesperson for the firm said: "Due to an electrical fault with the overhead lines between Glasgow Queen St Low Level and Hyndland caused by the extreme heat, we're going to need to request a 'line blockage' whilst we investigate.
"We'll keep you updated."
The Met Office advised this morning that extreme heat across the country could impact travel throughout the day with an Amber weather warning in place for parts of Scotland.
Temperatures in Glasgow are expected to reach almost 30 degrees today.
