A woman was rushed to hospital this morning after she was found unwell on a Glasgow street.
At around 7 am, police were called to Dumbarton Road in Yoker after receiving reports of the discovery.
The woman was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where she remains now and her condition has been described as 'serious but stable'.
Enquiries are ongoing, however, police say there do not appear to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident.
A section of Dumbarton Road was closed but has since reopened.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 7 am on Tuesday, July 19, police and emergency services were called after a woman was found unwell on Dumbarton Road, Yoker, Glasgow.
“She has been taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where medical staff describe her condition as serious but stable.
“There would appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, however, enquiries are continuing."
