A CHILD has been rushed to hospital after a crash in Glasgow as police remain on the scene.
Officers were called to Arrochar Street in the city's Summerston area at around 5.30pm this evening.
Two cars had collided in the midst of rush hour traffic.
The child has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
Cops are continuing to investigate what happened and remain in the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police received report of a two-car crash on Arrochar Street in Glasgow around 5.30pm on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
“One child, an occupant of one of the cars, has been taken to hospital as a precaution.
“Officers are in attendance and enquiries into the crash are ongoing.”
