GLASGOW train services were disrupted this evening when a person was on a train line.

ScotRail tweeted that due to the person being on the line at Dalreoch in Dumbarton, trains could not pass there.

This includes the line from Glasgow Central which travels through Partick, Hyndland, Anniesland, Westerton, Drumchapel, Drumry, Singer, Dalmuir and both Dumbarton East and Central.

Some trains this evening were cancelled as a result.

ScotRail later updated that the person had been removed safely by police and that trains could resume normal service again.

British Transport Police has been contacted for comment.
