A former member of the Pussycat Dolls will tread the boards at the King's Theatre in Glasgow next year.
Melody Thornton rose to fame as a key member of the popular American girl group before going on to launch a successful solo career.
The 37-year-old is now set to star in the award-winning smash-hit musical The Bodyguard as it goes on tour across the UK.

Thornton will take on the lead role of Rachel Marron, a troubled superstar previously played on stage by Alexandra Burke and by Whitney Houston in the original 1992 film.
The team behind the upcoming tour said: "A breathtakingly romantic thriller, The Bodyguard features a whole host of irresistible classics including Queen of the Night, I Wanna Dance With Somebody and one of the greatest hit songs of all time – I Will Always Love You."
The show will have its opening night in Glasgow on January 28, 2023 before moving on to theatres all over the UK.
