Two Clyde1 presenters have invited Glasgow thrill-seekers to join them in a daring charity stunt later this year.

Gordon Duncan and Gordon Dalziel, who host the Superscoreboard radio show, have taken on a nail-biting 140ft abseil to raise money for Clyde Cash for Kids.

The pair will plunge off the top of Skypark's tallest building in Finnieston as part of a long-standing partnership between the business hub and charity.

Organisers of the event have said that "every penny raised from the Skypark abseil will stay in the Glasgow area providing essential help to local families and the communities that need it most."

It's not just the brave presenters that will put their nerves to the test with members of the public invited to join in on September 8.

Gordon Duncan said: “The Skypark abseil is an amazing fundraising experience and is open to anyone that wants to take the plunge with us, so please sign up now.

"The money raised for Clyde Cash for Kids has a huge, positive impact on the thousands of children the charity supports throughout the year.”
