COPS have given an update on an incident involving a person on train tracks which disrupted Glasgow services.
We previously reported that trains could not pass through Dalreoch yesterday evening due to an individual being on the line near the station.
Trains to and from Glasgow Central were affected until the person was removed.
British Transport Police have now confirmed that they were called to the area after the alarm was raised for concern for a person.
The individual, a man, was removed safely.
No further details were given.
A spokesperson said: "British Transport Police were called to the line in Dalreoch at 7.53pm yesterday (July 20) following concerns for the welfare of a man.
"Officers attended, and the man was taken to a place of safety."
