A man is accused of producing and supplying drugs in a building yards from Glasgow Sheriff Court.

Emiliano Meci, 28, appeared at the same court today to answer the charge at a private hearing.

The appearance comes after the top flat of a building, situated just less than 0.2 miles away in Carlton Place, was raided by police on Wednesday.

Meci was remanded in custody pending further examination by Sheriff Tom Ward.

He will appear in court again within the next eight days.
