A SECTION of road in North Glasgow is set to close over the weekend to allow for footway resurfacing works.
Springburn Way carriageway will be closed Kay Street and Lenzie Gate between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Delays are expected and drivers are advised to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
A diversion will be in place via Atlas Road and Balgrayhill Road.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
