Two cars collided on a busy road near Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to a scene between junction 5 and 6 of the M8, near Newhouse, just after 2pm today.
Police arrived at the scene after reports of two vehicles colliding and confirmed that ambulance workers were also at the scene.
Inquiries are still continuing.

A force spokesperson said: “Around 2pm on Monday, July 25, 2022, police were informed of a two car crash on the M8, between junction 6 and 5 eastbound at Newhouse.
“The occupants of one of the vehicles contacted SAS to attend.
“Police enquiries continue.”
