Today is off to a bright and sunny start and temperatures will almost reach 20 degrees this afternoon in Glasgow.
According to the MET Office, however, a scattering of showers can be expected from mid-morning until later in the afternoon.
Later tonight, the showers are predicted to die out and leave space for a bright but chilly evening.

The mercury will rise up to 19°C in the Strathclyde area but lows of 9°C are expected as the sun sets.
Wednesday will be similar with a bright start then generally quite cloudy on the whole with a few showers and temperatures reaching 19°C.
