A summer roller disco is coming to a popular site near Glasgow.

XSite Braehead is holding the special holiday event from 12pm to 8pm on Saturday, July 30 and Sunday, July 31.

It will be broadcast live on radio station Clyde 1 with DJ Cassi Gillespie playing music.

The event will be free and skates will be provided to all participants.

At the end of the weekend, musical duo, Saint Phnx, will play an exclusive gig on Sunday, starting at 6pm.

Rosalind Gibson, Marketing Manager at XSite Braehead, said: “I’m so excited for XSite’s big roller disco.

“This is a special event, and we are keen for as many people as possible to be able to get their skates on.

“We launched our package of special offers, Vacation XSite, earlier this month so the centre has such a fun atmosphere around it right now, needless to say Summer 2022 will be one to remember this year at XSite.”

Saint Phnx lead singer Stevie Jukes, said: “We are thrilled to be playing at this event. The idea of a roller disco is absolutely brilliant, and the best part is that its open to everyone.

“We know some of our younger fans may not have been able to attend our previous gigs, so we hope to see them at XSite.”
