A pink stretch limo whisked the family from their home in Wishaw to the park where they went behind the scenes to meet a collection of exotic animals.

From shaking hands with Oscar the Sea Lion to feeding lunch to Kelly and Bella the giraffes, Faye spent the day making new friends and learning all about how the safari is run.

Rounding off the visit, Faye and sister Jodie took a turn on the dodgems leaving just enough time for an ice cream before hopping back into their limo for the journey home.

A spokesperson for the charity said: "We would like to thank the Blair Drummond Safari Park staff for going above and beyond to make this day so special."
