AN ICONIC Glasgow pub has teased that they are opening soon after two and a half years.
The Griffin has been an institution since 1903 and was a huge hit with theatre-goers due to its prime location near the King's Theatre on Bath Street until it closed in March 2020.
But it looks like the doors will be opening again to Glaswegians, as the pub team posted a message on their Instagram.
The post read: "Watch this space #TheGriffinIsBack'."
We previously reported that the pub, owned by itison, would reopen and was put up for sale.
A spokesperson said they had been "inundated with locals looking to take over the reins and excited to get the venue back up and running as soon as possible.”
