A NEW tapas bar and kitchen is set to open in the city's Southside next month.
G41 Bar, which comes from the team behind the popular Mediterranea Cafe and Deli which closed at the end of May, is set to open on Saturday, August 13 on Kilmarnock Road in Shawlands.
While bosses haven't given too much away about the new venture, they are promising cocktails, wine, beer and Mediterranean tapas, as well as tunes and live music, with a launch party planned for the opening night featuring DJ Yogi Haughton.
La Mediterranea announced with a "heavy heart" on May 26 that the cafe would be closing on Monday, May 30, though the team promised they would be back with a new venture soon.
