Plans for a new Blue Lagoon in Glasgow's city centre were submitted.
A new location of the iconic chippy chain could pop up at the corner of Bath Street and Renfield Street, if the application is approved.
The proposed restaurant would include a basement and a ground floor, with five booths and 10 tables in the eatery's sit-in section.

According to the documents, it would also have unisex toilets and would bear the classic Blue Lagoon signage at the Renfield Street entrance.
The site is currently occupied by beauty clinic MedicaSkin.

Currently, the fish-and-chip shop has multiple city centre locations, including on Argyle Street, Sauchiehall Street and Gordon Street.
The plans were validated earlier this month and are currently pending consideration from Glasgow City Council.
The full planning application for the site at 43 Bath Street is available here.
