TOM Walker is set to host an exclusive Live & Up Close homecoming gig in Glasgow next month. 

The Scottish singer-songwriter will perform for a lucky audience at the Radisson RED thanks to a partnership between Clyde 1 and the famous hotel. 

The 2019 Brit Award winner, whose smash hit Leave the Light On topped UK charts, is playing the intimate gig on Thursday, August 25 at the RED Sky Bar.

Off the back of releasing his brand new single Sun Will Shine today, Tom, who is from Kilsyth, says he is delighted to be back performing in Glasgow.

He said: "It’s going to be amazing!

"I’m coming back to Scotland and doing a little intimate gig, which is awesome as we’ve not done enough gigs in Scotland recently, so I’m buzzing to come back."

The exclusive event will be hosted by Clyde 1 Drive Time presenter Garry Spence, who will also hold an informal on-stage Q&A with Tom following the performance.

He will be joined by other Clyde 1 and Hits Radio network presenters, including Callum Gallacher.

Garry said: "We had a great catch-up with Tom Walker on the show today, and it’s fair to say we are all very much looking forward to his gig at the stunning Radisson RED Sky Bar on August 25.
