A dino took to the streets of the city today to engage with shoppers.

The lifelike T-rex was walking around in Glasgow to promote Dinosaur World Live, coming to the Theatre Royal soon.

Passers-by at the Donald Dewar Statue on Buchanan Street were amazed by the beast.

Running from Thursday, August 25 until Saturday, August 27, the show will feature creatures including a Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, Giraffatitan, Microraptor and Segnosaurus.

The performance will be played five times during the three days.
