A YOUNG man was stabbed in broad daylight in Glasgow's West End yesterday.
The 23-year-old was attacked around 9am by a man wearing a hooded jumper.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatement.
The assault occurred on July 23, in Dyke Road, Knightswood, close to the junction with Killoch Drive.
The attacker is described as a white male, in his 20s, around 6ft tall, of medium build, and wearing a black hooded jumper with the hood up and black jogging trousers.
Detectives are now appealing for information and footage of the incident.

Detective Constable Jennifer Boyle, of Drumchapel CID, said: "A man sustained serious injuries as a result of this incident and it is vital we trace whoever is responsible.
"Officers have been carrying out enquires and checking CCTV but we'd like to hear from anyone, who was in the area and who saw what happened.
"We are especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam or mobile phone footage from the time of the incident."
