TWO men were rushed to hospital after a serious assault at a prison near Glasgow last week.
Police received report of an assault at the Low Moss jail, Bishopbriggs, on Friday, July 22 at around 4.30pm.
The two men, aged 57 and 36, were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment as a result.
A third man, 26, has been charged and a report sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report around 4.30pm on Friday, 22 July, of a serious assault at HMP Low Moss, Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire.
“Two men, aged 57 and 36, were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“A 26 year-old man has been charged and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Earlier this month, we reported on how the prison was found to be overcrowded, with cells too small for two people.
