MOTORISTS in Glasgow are being warned of "heavy smoke" on a motorway due to a van on fire.
Traffic Scotland is asking drivers to take care in approaching Junction 13 and 14 of the M8, in Glasgow's East End, where the motorway is "partially blocked Westbound due to a vehicle fire on the hard shoulder".

Two appliances from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service raced to the scene around 6.48am today, a spokesperson said.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Officers were called to a report of a van on fire on the hard shoulder of the M8 at Junction 13 around 6.50am on Monday, 1 August, 2022.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. There were no reported injuries.”
