A POPULAR dessert bar could open in a prime spot in Glasgow's city centre.

Plans are currently being considered for Heavenly Desserts to open on Sauchiehall Street.

If the plans are approved, the store would open at 257 Sauchiehall Street in place of the Bo Concept store.

We previously reported that the sweet treats brand opened a venue in Silverburn shopping centre in May.

Described as 'luxury' desserts, customers can expect the likes of ice cream, cakes, cookie dough, American and Belgian waffles and crepes.

Heavenly Desserts' signature 'croffles', waffles made with croissant dough, are also popular.

The team also recently teased on their social media page that they will soon be bringing some new additions to their menu.
