A man was arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Paisley.
The Glasgow Times reported on Monday that a 24-year-old man was left with life-threatening injuries following an alleged attack on Stock Street at 9pm on Saturday night.
The victim was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow by ambulance for treatment.

Now, Police Scotland has confirmed that a 28-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today.
