TWO young girls have been rushed to hospital after being struck by a vehicle on a busy road in Glasgow.
The girls, aged 14 and 12, were hit on Thornliebank Road around 7pm on Thursday evening.
According to reports on social media, the crash occurred outside the BP Seven Sisters petrol station, opposite the Eastwood Old Cemetery.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of two people being struck by a vehicle on Thornliebank Road, Glasgow at around 7pm on Thursday, 4 August, 2022.
“Two girls, aged 14 and 12, were taken to hospital.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
