A MAN has been charged in connection with an alleged assault near a Glasgow park.
Police received a report of a 25-year-old man being attacked near Richmond Park in the city's Southside on July 11.
The park and the car park of the Jenny Burn pub was taped off.
Now a 61-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection.
He will appear in court at a later date.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4.35pm on Monday, July 11, 2022, police were called to a report of a serious assault near a premises at the Clyde Gateway in Glasgow.
"A 25-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
"A 61-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection and is due to appear at court at a later date."
