A STRANGER entered a woman's flat while she was sleeping and exposed himself to her.
The woman woke up at around 3am on Tuesday morning to find the man, who was not known to her, in her flat on Elizabeth Street in Govan.
She shouted at him and he then left the flat through a communal staircase.
Now cops are trying to hunt down the man, who is described as being in his early 20s, with short brown hair, of slim build and around 5ft 7in tall.
He spoke with a Scottish accent and was wearing a dark-coloured jogging top and blue jogging bottoms.
Detective Sergeant Larry Dempsey, of Govan CID, said: “This was an upsetting experience and fortunately the woman was not injured.
“The man left via the communal stair area and I am appealing to anyone who may have seen him to get in touch.
“If you saw this man acting suspiciously in the area, or have private CCTV that could assist with our investigation, then please contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 0379 of Tuesday, August 9, 2022, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
