THE CAST of the Singin' In The Rain lit up Glasgow today as the iconic musical returns to the stage.
Running at the King's Theatre from August 8 to 13, the talented cast will take the audience on a journey to old Hollywood.
Follow silent movie star, Don Lockwood, as he experiences a major change in the film industry where actors can sing and dance.
The musical stars Sam Lips as Don, Charlotte Gooch as chorus girl and rising star Kathy Selden and Strictly favourite Kevin Clifton as Cosmo Brown.
Fresh after opening night and ready for the second production on Tuesday, Peter Nash, Molly Rees-Howe, Alex Given, Ellie May Wilson and Joshua Lovell appeared at the Doulton Fountain in Glasgow Green today.
This may have been the one occasion that rain would be welcomed in Glasgow, but the fountain created an effective backdrop for the cast's colourful costumes and umbrellas.
Singin' In The Rain is based on the Metro-Goldwyn Mayer film starring Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds.
