EMERGENCY services scrambled to an incident in a busy shopping street.
Police vehicles and an ambulance were pictured at the scene on Main Street in Cambuslang earlier this evening.
Officers confirmed that the emergency services responded to a report of a person having a medical episode, but that police were not required to be there.
They also confirmed that the Scottish Ambulance Service (SAS) were attending.
SAS has been contacted for comment.
