A MAN was arrested in connection with a sexual assault on a young woman in Glasgow.
Cops received a report of an attack on a 20-year-old woman in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The alleged incident occurred at premises on Duke Street in the city's East End.
Officers have now provided an update to their investigation and confirmed that a 37-year-old man had been arrested and later released.
Their enquiries into the alleged incident are continuing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “On Sunday, August 7, officers received a report of a sexual assault on a 20-year-old woman at premises in Duke Street in Glasgow.
"A 37-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and released pending further enquiries."
